Elegant company making music in a wooded landscape. In the left background a fortified city, descending towards the coast. Sailing boats and rowing boats are seen in the water. Shepherds with their animals are seen walking up- or downhill. In the foreground the noble company is divided in small groups. Some are dancing in circles, some are playing instruments, among others guitar, trumpets, violin or soprano gamba. A child standing beside the woman playing the guitar is singing from a sheet music. Remarkably detailed is the vase on the right and it represents the Sacrifice of Iphigenia.
