Landscape with wanderer resting under a tree. this drawing can be related to cat. 1.02 as the landscape in the background is remarkably similar, even in the ascending path. Prosperi Valenti Rodinò: “[…] Drawing 63: Flemish school, 17th-century, ‘Landscape with wanderer resting under a tree’, pen and brown ink on highly oxidated paper; mm 158 x 235; numerous lacune inv. 1741, c. 11. The drawing, hardly readable because of its bad state of conservation, seems to take inspiration from the landscapes introduced in Rome by Brill at the end of the 16th-century. […]” “[…] inv. 1741, c. 11: un disegnetto di penna rappresentate un Paese con veduta di citta’, et una figura, che dorme sotto un albero con cornicetta negra. […].”
